When I Was 2 My Sister

When I was 2, my sister was born. I don't remember much from that time, but I do recall feeling a sense of excitement and wonder when I first met her. As a toddler, I didn't fully understand the concept of having a sibling, but I knew that I had someone new in my life who would be with me for a long time.

As my sister grew up, we started to develop a unique bond. We spent a lot of time playing together and exploring the world around us. We were each other's playmates, confidantes, and partners in crime. We also had our fair share of fights and disagreements, but at the end of the day, we knew we could always count on each other.

One of my fondest memories from when I was 2 and my sister was a baby is of us playing together in our backyard. We had a small playhouse that we would often retreat to, and I remember feeling so happy and content in that little space with my sister by my side. We would play with toys, make up stories, and giggle at the silly things we did.

Another memory that stands out for me is of my sister learning to walk. I would watch as she took her first wobbly steps, cheering her on and clapping my hands in encouragement. It was such a proud moment for both of us, and I knew that we would continue to share many more milestones as we grew up together.

Now that we are both adults, our relationship has evolved in many ways. We live in different cities and lead our own separate lives, but we still make time to talk and visit each other as often as possible. We may not be two-year-olds anymore, but the bond we formed all those years ago has only grown stronger with time.

Looking back on those early years, I feel grateful for the gift of having a sister. She has been a constant source of love, support, and companionship throughout my life, and I wouldn't be who I am today without her. From the moment she entered my life, she has brought so much joy and happiness into it, and I will always be grateful for that.
